This website provides information about support programs available for families and businesses affected by the Williams and Curve fires. The Curve Fire started on September 1 and encompassed 20,857 acres, destroying 50 homes and cabins in the north fork San Gabriel Track. The Williams fire started on September 22 and consumed 38,184 acres, and destroyed 62 homes and cabins in San Dimas Canyon.

10/01/02 Fire Damage Property Tax Relief Now Available
The County requested Small Business Administration (SBA) loans for people affected by both the Curve and Williams fires, and on October 22, this assistance was approved.
People whose home or business was damaged or destroyed by the fire may apply at:

SBA representatives will accept loan applications weekdays 8 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
The application center will be open starting Thursday, October 24 through November 7, and again from December 17 through December 19.
