Eligibility
and Requirements
Businesses
that are eligible to participate in the Local
Small Business Enterprise Preference Program,
have been certified as a small business enterprise with
the State of California; and have been certified
by the County's Office of Affirmative Action
Compliance as holding a principal office
located within the County of Los Angeles for
at least the previous 12 months .
OR
Where
geographic preferences are precluded by federal funding
restricitions, businesses are elgible to participate in the
Local Small Business Enterprise Preference Program if they are
certified by the federal Small Business Administration (SBA) or are
registered as small on the federal Central Contractor Registration
data base. Information about the federal SBA guidelines and the federal
